social and unsocial

The difference between social and unsocial lies in behavior, interaction, and engagement with others:

  1. Social

    • Actively interacts with others.
    • Enjoys company and group activities.
    • Communicates and engages in conversations.
    • Builds and maintains relationships.
    • Friendly, outgoing, and cooperative.

  2. Unsocial

    • Prefers to be alone or avoids social interactions.
    • Not interested in group activities.
    • May be reserved or introverted but not necessarily rude.
    • Avoids socializing out of personal choice, not hostility.
    • Focuses on personal space and solitude.

Note:

  • Being unsocial is different from being antisocial. "Antisocial" means acting against social norms, sometimes in a harmful way, whereas "unsocial" just means avoiding social interactions.
